No no, MCP does not do this.

It's a crappy Workbench "bug" (or non-feature) that it will simply center
the picture on a plain crappy colour 0 background. There really should
be an option for the background colour - or even have the Pattern and
Picture styles work together so that you can set the colour that way
(albeit only from the first 8 colours of the palette.. another "bug" or
non-feature, why can't you pick any damned colour you want and
have Workbench or IPrefs or whatever lock that?)

If only we had the source for Workbench available :)
